As a youngster Kelly enjoyed playing T Ball for the Texas Power Rangers and cheerleading for the San Diego Mighty Mites Pee Wee football team. She also enjoyed playing Uno immensely and did so with family members almost daily. She loved animals and cared for many throughout the years.
Kelly was well traveled and truly relished retail therapy opportunities by power shopping as she and her family visited several destinations throughout Asia and the Caribbean. She developed a love for the ocean as a teenager living in Puerto Rico, often snorkeling or simply swimming in the Caribbean Sea. She enjoyed searching for seashells while strolling local beaches and the shores of Vieques, Culebra and the U.S. Virgin Islands. She had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh.
