Kenneth William Hill, 70, of Adairsville, passed away on March 3, 2024 in Rome, Georgia.
Son of William F. Hill and Marguerite L. Hill, he was born on October 27, 1953 in Manhattan, New York. He graduated from Wheatley High School in 1971 and went on to attend the Academy of Aeronautics. He pursued a lifelong career in the aviation industry spanning three states, New York, Florida, and Georgia, where he retired in the fall of 2022.
He prided himself on his strong work ethic, commitment to quality, and attention to detail. During his free time, he enjoyed going on day trips, visiting museums and historical sites, watching documentaries, chatting with friends online, and spending time with his sister, daughter, grandson, and two cats (Charlie and Marley.)
He was preceded to heaven by his mother, father, and brother. He is survived by his sister, Pamela Wilkins of Adairsville, GA; sister-in-law, Patricia Anfolisi of Long Beach, NY; daughter Raquel Zane of Euharlee, GA; and grandson William Zane of Euharlee, GA.
Kenneth was a deeply beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. His passing was sudden and unexpected.
He was strong-minded, opinionated, and stubborn, but conversely, he was kind, remarkably patient, loyal, and a God-fearing man. There was no limit to the extent he would go to protect and care for those he loved. He loved with a fierceness unlike any other and the void that he leaves behind is immeasurable.
The family will receive friends for a viewing and visitation on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 11:00 AM - !2:00 PM in the chapel of Georgia Funeral Care. A graveside service will be held following the visitation at 1:00 PM at Providence Cemetery in Cartersville, GA.
