Nettie Eberhart, born in Anderson, SC on April 9, 1930, went home to heaven on June 20, 2021 from The Fountains Assisted Living in Cartersville, GA. Nettie was predeceased by her parents, King Oran Randall, Sr and Mattie Tyler Randall; her husband of 59 years, Thomas Noel Eberhart; her daughter, Mollie Eberhart McFarland and all of her  7 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by 2 sons, Nathan (Debbie) Eberhart of Cartersville and Royce (Connie) Eberhart of Covington; son-in-law, Daniel McFarland, 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Nettie enjoyed the last 2 years stay at The Fountains, where she made many new friends with residents and staff. The family is grateful for the care given to Nettie by the staff at The Fountains. We would like to thank special friends, Helen Chatmon and Tanya Dillard, for all they have done for her.

Nettie loved her family, spending most of her time at home with her children. Later she worked part time jobs and became a tax examiner for the IRS (don’t hold that against her). At 55 she was employed by Home Buyers Warranty, where she worked until she was 80, enjoying her job and the friendship of many co-workers.

Nettie is a charter member of the Mountain Park First Baptist Church in Stone Mountain. Graveside services will be at the Colbert City cemetery in Colbert GA on Thursday, June 24 at 1 pm with Dr. Rick Standard officiating.
