Patricia Ann Rogel (nee Bielen), age 84, went to be with the Lord on May 4, 2022, in Rome, Georgia. Patricia was born to the late Martin and Josephine Bielen in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a lifelong resident of Parma, Ohio. Patricia is preceded in death by her son, Nicholas, and brothers and sisters, Jeanette Sorrente, Elizabeth Bielen, Dorothy King, Agnes Fazah, Anthony Bielen, Casimer Bielen, Stanley Bielen, and Walter Bielen. Patricia is survived by one sister, Constance Francis Ogorzaly, and three of her children, Kathy Iven (Bernie), Alan Rogel, and Christine Nevin; three grandchildren: Alison Iven, Brett Nevin (Courtney), Jamie Branson (Michael) and seven great-grandchildren: Arthur and Eddie Ramaharonirina, Bentley and Asher Nevin, and Mackenzie, Jordan and Beckett Branson; and many nieces and nephews. Patricia retired from U.S. Steel and stayed active by gardening, walking, and dancing to polka music. She was always open to a game of horseshoes, bowling, or Rummikub. Her greatest joy was spending time with her great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in her hometown of Parma, Ohio.
