Peter F. Waller was born on January 12th, 1936, to Sidney and Edith Waller, a brother for Joan. He was raised in Northamptonshire, England, and attended the local Grammar School where he excelled at languages gaining advanced qualifications in Spanish, French, and English.
Upon leaving school Peter joined the British Armed Forces and served for many years taking in many overseas postings. It was during this period that he met Elsa C. Waller who became his wife in 1973.
Once he had left the Armed Forces, he worked for the British government. A couple of years after their wedding Peter and Elsa left the United Kingdom to embark on a new life in the USA.
Peter worked for two banks in their foreign exchange departments. During their time in the USA, they resided in San Francisco, New York, and Atlanta. In his spare time, he enjoyed travel, reading, playing card games in particular bridge, and collecting and painting miniature soldiers.
Peter is predeceased by Elsa his loving wife, Sidney and Edith Waller, his sister Joan and brother-in-law Bert.
Peter’s surviving relatives are a nephew and niece Stephen and Lindsey. Over the last two years, he resided at The Orchard at Brookhaven, where he sadly but peacefully passed away on August 26, 2021.
