Rachel Mary Caldwell (Zolea L. Ozark) 33 of Clarksville TN, was lost to us much too soon and transitioned peacefully while being surrounded by her family and much love on the evening of May 1, 2020 at her parent's home in Kennesaw GA while under hospice care for the reoccurance of a malignant brain tumor. Born in Mount Holly NJ in 1986, she moved with her family to Maryland in 1994, and then to Georgia in 1999, before finishing school and moving to Tennessee where she established her own home in 2011.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents (Audrey C and North M Brooks of NJ) both of whom she shared a close bond with, as well as her paternal grandfather (Charles O Cubberley of NJ). She is survived by her daughter Audrey Caroline (9), husband Kyle Russell of Nashville TN, parents Carol M and Richard G Cubberley of Kennesaw GA, sister Lynne Keller-Raber of Clermont FL, her aunts Diane Meyers (Sarah, Jim) and Audrey Wirth (Beth, Jen) of NJ, uncles Roger Brooks (Roger, Patty) and North Brooks (North III) of NJ, Carl Brooks (SC), as well as numerous extended family members in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Mexico, and Maryland.
Zo was a committed and loving mother to her daughter, a proficient organic gardener, certified myocologist, and avid student of herbology. She also enjoyed raising and caring for her backyard chicken flock and was self taught in the arts of knitting, crocheting, and sewing. She had quite a talent for cooking, often creating her own unique recipes and supporting her local food co-op, as well as being an active member in her local flow arts community where she had been in the process of learning to spin fire when her battle with cancer began several years ago. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
Traditional services were not desired by Zolea and are not planned, there were private final moments with her family and a memorial service is pending for a future date when it will be safe for those who will be gathering, details will be announced once they are determined.
