Richard (Rick) Louis Dusterhoff of Kennesaw, Ga passed away peacefully at home on Nov 7, 2019. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on October 29, 1950. He retired from UniPro Foodservice, Inc. after a long career in the food distribution industry. In retirement, Rick continued with his love for the food service industry by working at Publix, and enjoyed mentoring young people and interacting with those in his community. Rick had a passion for grocery stores, baseball, the beach, and driving his Miata. 

Rick is survived by his daughters, Ashleigh Gaunt and Margaret Dusterhoff, his son Curt Dusterhoff, his brother Mark Dusterhoff, grandchildren Lauren and Rhys Gaunt, and Riley Perdue. Rick was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Richard and Margarete and his sister-in-law Cathy Dusterhoff.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Institute for Cancer Research in Rick’s name. 

Internment will be at noon on Nov 16, 2019 at Georgia Memorial Park in the Mausoleum, 2000 Cobb Parkway SE, Marietta, Ga.
