Robert Thomas Cole, of Acworth, GA, passed on April 25, 2022. Robert was born May 17, 1932 in Marietta, GA (Cobb County). He was preceded in death by his parents John Alfred and Georgia Mae Davis Cole, first wife Margaret Tacket Cole, sisters Louise (Paul) Wable and Edna (Grady) Ross. He was survived by his wife of 31 years Daisy Blackwell Cole, of Acworth, GA, Step-daughter Kimberly (Marc) Bunyard, Euharlee, GA, and Step-son Mark (Amy) Blalack, of Beaumont, TX and five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Robert served in the US Army in Korea for 2 years, later worked at Lockheed Martin from 1951-1998. He enjoyed vegetable gardening, yard work, and working in his woodworking shop. After retirement he discovered golf which soon became his passion. He was proud of his 2 hole in ones. Family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Georgia Funeral Care, in Acworth. A graveside service will be held at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Acworth at 2:30 PM following the visitation.
