Susan Nutter, 58, died peacefully on March 22, 2024, at her home in Atlanta, GA.
Susan was born in Augusta, GA on July 14, 1965, to Dr. Luther and Jane Thomas.
She graduated from the University of Georgia Terry College of Business with a degree in management information systems. She went on to work at Georgia Pacific in the IT department for six years before living out her heart’s desire as a homeschool mom of five kids.
She was a devout Christian who loved to spread the joy of the Lord. She lived as a true ambassador of the Father’s love for His children by serving and giving cheerfully to everyone she encountered.
She is survived by her husband, David Nutter, and their five children: Jane, Jim, Nancy, Ann Marie, and Laura Lillian. She is also survived by her brother Dr. Luther Thomas III, sister Beth Finch, and a multitude of in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews, all of whom she loved very much.
A memorial service will be held at Mt. Bethel Church on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM with a reception following the service at the church.
