Suzanne Elizabeth Deddish Taylor, 49, of Acworth, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta. She has gone to be with the Lord. Suzanne was the daughter of Michael Raymond Deddish (Wilma) and the late Nancy Ann Wittel Deddish. She is survived by her husband, Sean Bennett Taylor; two sons, Sean Bennett Taylor, Jr, and Connor Ellis Taylor; a sister, Laura Deddish Burton (Will); niece, Sarah Wyeth Burton, and nephew William E. Burton, IV.
Suzanne graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University in 1995, where she was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society and Chi Omega. She went on to Wake Forest University School of Law, graduating in 2000. Suzanne received her license to practice law in the fall of 2000, and proceeded to specialize in employment law, eventually becoming the Associate General Counsel for Employment at Aaron’s corporate offices in Atlanta.
Suzanne took great joy in spending time with family and friends and playing with her dogs Hallie and Sophie. She enjoyed reading, cross-stitching, and playing board games, and cherished nighttime Bible readings with Sean. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and coworkers.
A celebration of Suzanne’s life will be held on Saturday, July 9th at County Line United Methodist Church, where Suzanne was a member. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, with the service following at 2:00 PM. After the service, a comfort meal will be provided by the church for relatives and out-of-town guests.
