Taze Lamb was born September 4, 1925 in Linstead, Jamaica to Charles and Muriel Lamb. He died peacefully in his home and transitioned to his heavenly home on October 9, 2020.
He had 5 siblings: Keith, Warren, Dee, Rose, and Blossom who are all deceased. He leaves behind wife Pearl, three children, Taze, Bradley, and Chelle, Step-son Paul, and four grandchildren, Paul Jr., Sean, Alexis, and Taze III.
Taze earned his Bachelors in Engineering from the University of Mayagyez in Puerto Rico. He went on to earn his Masters in Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. He worked as a Safety Engineer at Esso, later named Petrojam, and retired from Petrojam. Taze had a love for life and loved to laugh, often reading the daily comics. He also loved woodworking, photography, painting pictures, making furniture, and creating something out of nothing, which earned him the title of a modern day MacGyver (the TV show). He collected model planes, cars, clocks, cameras, pens, and anything he could use for his "projects." He also loved to read and collected books, many on the World Wars.
Taze, was smart, a great provider, and loving father. His greatest legacy is the values he instilled in his family. He will be greatly missed. He was the Wind Beneath Our Wings. You got yours now, so fly.
We love you!
