Syble Darlene Scott of Acworth went to be with her Savior on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021. She is survived by husband of 53 years William "Skip" Scott, daughter DeeDee Cox of Acworth, son William "Bubba" Scott and daughter-in-law Darla Scott of Canton, grandchildren Devin and Cayla Cox, Will Scott, Bayleigh Scott, great-grandchildren Cambrie Cox, Ava Cox, and Briar Cox, sisters Deb Massingill of Ringgold and Tina Welch of Marietta, brother Johnny Hembree of Calhoun, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was a woman of faith who loved all of God's humanity.
She was devoted to her husband, kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids more than anything. She loved the mountains, Elvis, and Christmas time. She was a member of Creekside Fellowship in Cartersville and loved them like family.
Visitation and viewing will be at the Creekside Fellowship Church on Saturday, Nov. 27, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with the funeral following at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Mike Abernathy, Pastor Daniel Arrington, and Pastor Marlon Haney will officiate the service.
Pallbearers include William "Skip" Scott, William "Bubba" Scott, Will Scott, Devin Cox, Johnny Hembree, Jonathon Hembree, Josh Cook, and Scotty Paschal. Creekside Fellowship Church is located at 585 Old Alabama Road, Cartersville. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Methodist Church in Johns Creek. Georgia Funeral Care is in charge of arrangements.
