Tice Lee Lancer II, 48 of Kennesaw passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022. Lee was born October 8, 1973, in Richmond, VA, and met the love of his life, April, while working at Arby’s. He asked and asked April out on a date but was repeatedly turned down. Until one day, while on lunch break from work, April came in to eat. Lee again asked her out, and a bit exhausted from the continuous asking, April said if you’ll stop asking, I’ll go to dinner with you. Lee was so excited that he literally jumped the counter and asked her if she was serious. They went to dinner on March 17th, St. Patrick’s Day. It must have been the lucky day for love because 3 years later they were married. Through life and its ups and downs, they celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on August 28, 2021.
He was in restaurant management for more than 25 years, most recently as a General Manager for Arby’s. He was preceded in death by his father, Tice Lancer, and mother, Evelyn Lancer, both of Woodstock.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, April of Kennesaw, his sister Kimberly Gibson and her fiancé, Bill Eagan both of Woodstock, his nephew Brian Gibson and his wife Meagan, and the most perfect great-niece, Kayla, of Acworth.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Georgia Funeral Care and Cremation in Acworth. The family will receive friends from 1;00 - 2:00 pm.
