Tony Everette Raper Sr., known to his friends as “Gimp”,passed away Friday, January 25th, 2020 at Piedmont MountainsideHospital at the age of 64.
He was born in Cartersville, GA on August 10, 1955. He was alife-long member of the Iron Coffins Motorcycle Club, former business owner ofa reliable sewer service, a shade tree mechanic for friends in need, a memberof Ingram’s Wrecker Service, and proud father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lewis and LillianFriend; grandparents Clifton and Monice Kim, Ernest Raper, Rosie Samples; andsister Marilynn Gwendolyn Taylor. Tony will forever be remembered by his sistersJeanette (Benny) Croft, Therese (Sal) Vitale, and Redina (Bobby) Barron; hisbrother C.J. Friend; his children Tony Raper, Jr. and Jennifer (John) Noland; hisstep-children Robin Hazeltine and Rachel Jaworski; his grandchildren; honoraryson Christian Ingram; long-time best friend Gary Bolton; several nieces,nephews, cousins, and many friends.
A memorial service will be performed at The Entire BibleBaptist Church on Saturday, February 1st, 2020 at 11 a.m. Theaddress for the church is 4980 Cobb Pkwy, Acworth, GA 30101. Friends and familyare invited to lunch in the fellowship hall following the conclusion of theservice. An additional memorial service will be held in Michigan the followingweek.
