Veneicia was commonly known to her family as Neicy, and preferably to friends and co-workers by her middle initial Que. She was born on June 2, 1965 in Newark NJ. Neicy is the youngest daughter of her deceased parents Amos and Virginia Scott. She attended elementary and High School in Newark, NJ. After graduation she attended Pace University. At the conclusion of her sophomore year, she decided to enter the United States Marine Corp, where she served for 9 years. *While serving her country she was decorated with the Rifle Expert Badges, Good Conduct Metals, Sea Service Deployment Ribbons, the National Defense Service Medal, Letter of Appreciation and Meritorious Mast.
Having developed a love for the south after being stationed for several years in Beaufort, South Carolina, she became a permanent resident of Georgia approximately 10 years. She retired in 2019 from Comcast Telecommunications Company where she served as a computer data analyst.
Neicy is survived by two sisters Wanda Diane Scott, and Darcea Scott West, her uncle Donald Brown, her niece Leigh West, and nephew Zachary West, and her cousin Walter Gilbert. She also leaves to her cherished memory; other precious family members and friends.
Neicy loved the Lord and was a prolific student of the bible. She enjoyed good food, gardening, the Hallmark channel, Sci-Fi movies and her cat Bella.
Neicy, Your journey is over. You have been a good and faithful servant. You were deeply loved and will be greatly missed. We know where you are now, in our Heavenly Father's house with mom, dad and grandma. Well done, God's good and faithful servant!
