Wesley passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 17, 2022. He was born October 17, 1972, in Jacksonville, Florida to David and Patricia (Standiford) Stumpf. The great loves of his life were his dogs along with hiking, camping, and fishing. He never met a construction problem he couldn’t solve or a plumbing problem he couldn’t fix. Before his illness in 2014 he served as a proud volunteer fireman for Cherokee County Fire Dept. and was always an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Wesley and Naida Stumpf and maternal grandparents James and Frances Standiford. He is survived by his parents, his brothers Brian (Michele), Kevin (April), Russell (Christie), and sister Lynn Seevers (John). He will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces but especially his nephew Ryker and great-niece Lainey. They loved to play with uncle Wes.
Although Wesley never had any children of his own, he was also preceded in death by his two favorite fur kids Seamus and Tristan, the rocks that kept him anchored.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 8th at 11:00 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 4521 Arden Road, Otis Orchards, Washington 99027 with interment immediately following in the church cemetery. A memorial service will be held in the fall for all the family and friends here in Georgia.
